Our Story

NEST was born from a simple belief — that storytelling is one of the most powerful ways children learn and grow. Long before instructions or explanations, stories help children understand emotions, values, and the world around them. Rooted in culture and shaped by modern childhood, NEST creates gentle, psychology-backed stories that help children grow through connection, familiarity, and meaning. Our books are designed for the early years and built around everyday moments children already recognise, making them easy to relate to and imitate. Our Journey

NEST didn’t begin as a brand. It began as a parent’s concern.

There was a phase when screens had quietly started taking over our toddler’s day — restlessness, tantrums, constant distraction. When we spoke to our paediatrician and child psychologist, one message stayed with us: nothing supports early development quite like books and shared storytelling.

But when we went looking, we felt a gap. Many books were either too academic for toddlers or too complex to truly connect with. We wanted stories that felt gentle, familiar, and meaningful — stories that could help children build habits, understand emotions, and grow with values in ways they could actually relate to.

That search led us deeper — into child psychology, habit formation, early brain development, and how illustrations, rhythm, and repetition shape a young child’s attention. What started as intentional parenting slowly became stories we first created for our own child.

When we saw the change — calmer moments, deeper engagement, stronger connection — we wondered if these stories could support other families too. Parents, children, and even grandparents began seeing them not just as books, but as something worth returning to and preserving.
